We consult our clients during the interview process on this very subject.  While some customers may not have the availability to have professional photos taken of their products or business, consider this, use stock photos or graphics on at least the Index (HOME) page.  Around 98% of your business will come from the FIRST impression which is your home page.

Example 2 this example uses generic graphics as a representation of the services provided.

Example 1 uses a beautiful example of their floral services with a large high quality photograph.

Example 2 also has a large  high quality image, however, not as much focus on the image as the content.

Example 1 has a nice online shopping cart with product galleries to display multiple option and large photos 

Example 2 the product in this shopping cart lacks the availability to view products much larger than the thumb.
